The path to USMF student status begins with an application for enrollment and a complete file.

Step-by-step admission process

Prepare your documents

Prepare your complete application file in both digital and printed format.

Submit your online application

Fill in the online form, sign it, then scan the full file and submit it to the Admissions Committee.

Receive confirmation

After your file is reviewed, you will receive an official response from the department responsible for international candidates.

Visa and arrival

Depending on your country, you may enter without a visa or may need a D/AS visa. After arrival, report to the university international office within 3 days to start temporary residence procedures for studies.

Enrollment

Enrollment is finalized after submitting the original documents, which confirms your student status.

Important

Documents mentioned in points 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 must be translated into Romanian, English, or Russian, notarized and legalized in the manner established by the state authorities of the respective country.

Complete and sign the application form, then scan and submit it together with the required documents to the admissions email address.

Your application can be submitted to the Admissions Committee by email at: foreign@usmf.md.

Typically required documents include: a completed application form, a copy of the passport, academic transcripts and diplomas, proof of language proficiency, a birth certificate, photographs, and a declaration of responsibility.

Documents must be translated, where required, into Romanian, English, or Russian and certified in accordance with the applicable requirements.

Yes, a language proficiency certificate in the language of instruction is required.

For international applicants, admission includes an interview and the evaluation of academic results, in accordance with the published methodology.

USMF accepts both digital and paper applications, depending on the stage of the admission process and the applicable procedure.

Deadlines are published in the Admission Schedule. USMF organizes admission sessions, including autumn and spring intakes.

After submission, your application is reviewed, and you will receive the official response and next steps by email.

It depends on your country of origin: some applicants can enter Moldova without a visa and stay for up to 90 days. If a visa is required, you must follow the applicable procedure.
